The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) has a distinguished history of experts exploring and saving wildlife in some of the most remote and wild places remaining on Earth. WCS Indonesia Program (WCS-IP) has significantly grown over the last decades, and contributed substantially in supporting the Government of Indonesia (GoI), particularly Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF) in conserving Indonesia’s biodiversity. WCS-IP currently has programs focusing on landscape/seascape conservation, species conservation actions and engaging local communities. In order to achieve our overall goal of saving wildlife and wild places, WCS-IP is currently seeking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy:
SCOPE OF WORK
The graphic design consultant is responsible for providing communication materials including posters, brochures, infographic, leaflet, banners, video, shirt, goodie bag, and other products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide graphic design of WCS-IP communication products;
Deliver creative and innovative ideas for print, electronic, web-based and animated presentations;
Design of communication materials for printing and electronic distribution;
Improve and edit art-work, photos, charts and other graphic elements;
Layout and design information and communication materials (infographic, vector design, banners, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, bulletins, flyers, cards);
Create animations for illustrative purposes such as animations, presentations and more advanced solutions;
Custom photo editing (restoration, noise reduction, tonal adjustment);
Basic video editing
Deliver creative graphic and technical solutions for use of new media (virtual 3D words/boxes, postcards);
SKILLS REQUIRED
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in graphic design of a wide range of communication materials for printing and electronic distribution;
Strong knowledge and practical background in graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Corel Draw, etc.);
Knowledge of video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premier, After Effects, etc) is a plus;
Good attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality materials within short time-frames
