Formed in September 1977, ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) is a regional parliamentary organization that consists of 10 parliaments of ASEAN Member States. AIPA plays important role in familiarizing the ASEAN people with policies aimed at accelerating the realization of the ASEAN Community. AIPA Secretariat serves as the centre of communication and information among the members. It aims to encourage understanding, cooperation, and close relations among AIPA Member Parliaments as well as Observer Members and other organizations.


DIRECTORATE OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT, INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT)


The intern is expected to perform the following assignments:

  • Assist the ICT division in designing AIPA’s social media activities;

  • Provide assistance in the creation and publishing of relevant content for the social media materials;

  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, and channels;

  • Involve in the development of brand awareness and online reputation of AIPA;

  • Attend functions and networking events, if required;

  • Work with the team in the administrative tasks

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program or have graduated within the past one year;

  • Exhibit the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical skills of content creation;

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Maintain excellent writing and language skills (English);

  • Perform the ability to utilize design tools or video editing software (non-compulsory);

  • Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university record;

  • Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in AIPA Secretariat

AIPA Secretariat has been closely monitoring the fast and dynamic development of the pandemic of the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia. Therefore, to adapt to the situation, AIPA Secretariat’s employees and interns have been required to do shift work from home during the pandemic. The working concept will be fully virtual.
