Currently we are seeking a Program Assistant to help project implementation in IFES Indonesia’s office.
Primary Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Country Director and in close coordination with IFES Indonesia team, the IFES Program Assistant will provide administrative support for IFES Indonesia’s programs and its subaward partners.
Scope of Work:
a) Liaise closely with the Program Officer to support ongoing activities of IFES Indonesia;
b) Under the direction of the Country Director, Head of Programs, and the Program Officers, assist the coordination of assigned projects and programs aimed at Strengthening Trust and Resilience in Democracy in Indonesia, through local civil society initiatives and other local partners;
c) Liaise with partners to support the timely submission of programmatic and financial deliverables;
d) Assist with the planning, administration and logistics for special events, conference, workshops or trainings;
e) Support day-to-day project activities in an efficient and effective manner;
f) Support ongoing logistical and administrative needs of activities;
g) Work collaboratively with IFES technical experts and partners as needed;
h) Provide any other support as requested by the Country Director, Head of Programs, and Program Officer.
Requirements:
· Preferably bachelor’s degree in political science, law, international relations or a related field;
· At least 2 years or comparable of experience of working in an international environment, ideally with significant experience in implementing democratic development projects and international program management;
· Fluency in English and Bahasa, both written and oral;
· A high level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced environment;
· Ability to take initiative and work within tight deadlines;
· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Programs, Excel, Internet) required;
· Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to make independent decisions.
