Background

Main Purpose
Carrying out tasks of checking, recording and storing as well as preparing goods to be sent, according MSF standards and procedures and the storekeeper's instructions, in order to ensure proper orders' reception and dispatch.
Objective
To ensure well structure, well organized warehouse including management of safe and accountable item reception and dispatches in MSF Banten
Responsibility
Performing tasks as per the Banten SLM instructions. This includes but are not limited to the following:
Receiving goods arriving to the MSF Labuan, checking its status/condition and quantity according to PO and receipt document and reporting it to Banten SLM
Preparing outgoing items in a clean and optimized way by appropriately packing, sealing and labelling goods, assisting with recording the exits on stock cards and project form, and ensuring good quality of cold chain when needed
Ensuring that goods are well organized and stored in a clean area to be visible and traceable i.e. assisting in the stock inventory, storing items according to nature and use, and ensuring that the temperature in the store is appropriate and items that require cold chain are correctly stored
Carrying out basic maintenance of the store, ensuring security conditions (keeping unauthorized staff out, locking, etc.
Arranges stock according to category (stationary, food, medicines, etc)
Ensure that all storage management tools are continuously up to date (stock cards, balance of entry and exits)
Checks expiry dates and storage conditions (humidity, temperature, etc)
Carries out a physical inventory every 3-month supervised by SLM
Inform the SLM, in the event of any problems or issues related to the management of the store/warehouse (risk of stock shortage, delivery errors, theft or attempt of, close to expiry dates, etc)
Assisting admin division in managing inventory management in MSF Banten office
Ensuring proper use, storage and maintenance of the equipment and tools provided
Assisting with local procurement and sourcing of local order
All the storekeeper assistant activity still supervised by Banten SLM
Ready to join emergency response activity of MSF if needed
Any additional task as assigned by line manager
Requirements
Education
Literacy essential. Essential knowledge of basic mathematics and use of measuring equipment
High school education/ similar education level
Experience
Previous experience on warehousing / item sorting is preferred, previous experience with MSF will be a plus
Languages
Indonesian native speaking, with basic English speaking and writing ability
Knowledge
Familiar with Microsoft office software, especially excel
