Yayasan Inobu is one of Indonesia’s youngest & most exciting research institutes in the field of environment & rural production systems. Our focus is to empower farmers, including the younger generation, to improve their agricultural practices and protect the environment. Our approach, grounded in the concept of collaborative, applied research, has led to many innovations in the fields of sustainable commodity production, environmental management & indigenous rights, since our inception in 2014. We currently work in the provinces of Central Kalimantan, West Papua, Southeast Sulawesi and East Nusa Tenggara. We also support partner organizations across the Indonesia archipelago while understanding policy research and development at the national level. Responsibilities

  • Managing & monitoring development process of data collection apps & platforms developed by Yayasan Inobu;

  • Designing the layout of the new online applications and/or platform related to Yayasan Inobu’s projects;

  • Managing Yayasan Inobu’s databases;

  • Supporting in data and/or statistical analysis;

  • Supporting in survey design & data collection process;

  • Supporting in platforms implementation in the field;

  • Coordination with related team members for platforms implementation; and

  • Performing other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field from a reputable university;

  • 1 year of experience with data models, analyze large datasets & write comprehensive reports;

  • Knowledge in database languages (SQL, R, Phyton, etc.) would be an advantage;

  • Used to the quantitative & qualitative data analyses;

  • Interested in applied research, especially in agriculture;

  • Great proficiency in English both written & spoken;

  • Excellent command of Microsoft office apps;

  • Proven ability for problem-solving & attention to details; and

  • An adaptive team player with good communication skills.
